About Me

Hi there,

My name is Kaila and I am a twenty-something American, currently based in Mbale Uganda working on community-driven development with Spark MicroGrants. I moved to Senegal following my college graduation and ever since I can’t seem to stay put. I’ve fallen in love with the African continent and the diversity of experience and culture here and can’t wait to discover more. I’ve never been much for keeping up blogging or journaling, but regret not having documented much of my earlier experiences living abroad so here’s to my renewed attempt.
